A wedding of interest to the Dutch community took place at St. David's, Kaiti, recently when Miss Tona Oost Lievense was married to Mr Anthonie Tonton. Miss Lievense's mother in Holland was a pen friend for many years with Mrs S. E. Wallen, Aberdeen Road, and when she came to N.Z. she made her home with Mrs Wallen. Picture at right shows little Tea Uittenbogaard, daughter of the manager of the Hospital Farm, dressed in national costume, presenting the bride with a lucky horseshoe.
