Barbara Jean, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs C. S. Deverell, Iranui Road, to Douglas Yeo Hutton, of Aorangi, son of the Rev. and Mrs H. V. Hutton, Tolaga Bay. The attendants at left of the newlyweds are Mr R. Wall and Miss Doreen Grundy, and at right, Miss Margery Deverell, sister of the bride (chief bridesmaid), the Rev. P. Hutton, the bridegroom's brother (best man), Miss Margaret Watton, and Mr P. Green. The young couple will make their home at Hore Hore, Ruatoria, where the bridegroom is farming. The wedding was at Holy Trinity Church.
