Miss Marlene Helen Gee, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. L. Gee, 33 Lytton Road, receiving the traditional key from her father at a coming-of-age party held at the Waikanae Beach Kiosk on February 12. Miss Gee is on the teaching staff Manutuke School.

Miss Laurel Hoe, daughter of Mr & Mrs W. W. Hoe, 16 Buchanan Street, cutting the cake at her coming-of-age party on February 15. With her is her grandmother, Mrs William Davis, of 149 Roebuck Road, who on the same day celebrated her 84th birthday.
Mr Stan Friday, 686 Aberdeen Road, who celebrated his coming-of-age recently at the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs S. V. Priday. Here the guest of honour is seen at the cakecutting ceremony with his mother.
