New Church Opened

The reconstructed building of the Roman Catholic Church of St Mary, Star of the Sea, was opened on December 5 by His Grace, Archbishop Liston. The new church, which incorporates the sanctuary, part of the foundations, and part of the roof of the 75-year-old former church, will now seat 630 people, or 200 more than previously.
