Buccaneers Beaten by Combined Team

The Combined team chosen to play France was given a work-out against the Buccaneers at Trafalgar Park two Sundays before the big fixture. A big crowd saw the Combined team beat Buccaneers 37-25 after the lead had changed several times. The match certainly fulfilled its main object of giving the Combined team a run together, and although there were some excellent movements on both sides, much of the play was frothy and many left the ground with the hope that the Combined team's tackling would be more de-liberate in the big game to come.
