After two years of planning, preparation and erection, the new sewerage station to serve the Stoke area is nearing completion and should be in full use shortly. In this aerial picture, the two big digestors stand out. Between them is the pump house, 20ft below which the pumps have been installed. Further installations will be made in the Stoke area in the future.
