Leaving Nelson are the Rev Ross Heyward, his wife Dawn, and children John, Tony, Peter and Judy. Ross has been minister of the Annesbrook Church of Christ for 9 years. They're off to Dunedin where Mr Heyward will take over the ministry of the Dunedin city church.

A new teaching appointment at Kuranui College, Greytown, awaits "Bill" Broadhurst, seen here with wife Betty and son Nigel. Bill has taught engineering at Nelson College for the last 13 years, and at the Polytechnic. Bill was also coach of the college shooting team and they will miss him badly.

Another teacher to leave the Nelson district is Michael Hunt, who with his wife, Margaret, and children Debbie, Tony and Ian, are off to Ranfurly. Michael has been teaching at Hira School.

New arrivals are Alan and Vida Claridge, from Christchurch, who have come to Nelson to retire.
