First Aid for Girls Brigade

Pioneers of the 8th Nelson Girls' Brigade (Annesbrook) who passed examinations for the preliminary first aid certificate conducted by the Stoke St. John Ambulance personnel were presented with their certificates at a parade recently by Superintendent Robert Crawford. The girls were (back): Debbie Borrows, Jenny Johnstone, Jennifer Griffith, Christine Brough and Jan Lovell. Front: Sandra Clinton, Jenny Gillman, Julie Johnstone and Maree Laurie, who is receiving her certificate from Mr Crawford. With them is Mr Peter Ramsay who coached the girls.
