"Mrs N.Z. " Area Final

The mother of three children, Mrs Merril Brown, of Stoke, won the area final of the Plunket Society's "Mrs N. Z." contest in Nelson last month. She contested the final with Mrs Ann Dobier, of Glenhope, winner of the Murchison section (above centre), and Mrs Eileen McConchie (top right), winner of the Nelson section. Mrs Brown, who won the Stoke section last month, is at left. She will now compete against the winners of the Marlborough. Motueka and Takaka sections on October 21, for the "Mrs Nelson title. There were eight entrants for the Nelson section and thirteen entered for the Stoke section. Elsewhere in this issue are photo graphs of the Motueka area finals.
