Ladies' Golf Title
Charlotte Douglas, somewhat of a dark horse from Totara-dale, beat a strong field to win the Waimea ladies golf championship at Greenacres, last month. A big field of 100 contested the A to D grade titles.

Critics' corner: Steve Borkin, Jack Puklowski, Bert Sloss, Dave Wanstall, Rauma and Ray Ryder, Maurie Fowler.
