The Nelson representative 3rd grade Rugby team had an extremely successful season, winning four of the five games it played and beating Marlborough in the process for the Tim Davis Memorial Cup. The Nelson Women's Hockey Association's K-Cup team had a very successful tournament at Gore. The team lost only one of its six games, winning the other five, and emerging runner-up in its section of the Mills Cup tournament. The team was, back: Mrs H. Gridley (chaperon), W. Graham, M.
