Inter-School Rugby

The inter-school Rugby match between Waimea College 1st XV and St stephen's School, Auckland, was a David and Goliath affair. The big, powerfullybuilt St. Stephen's boys crashed their way to a 12-8 win on Trafalgar Park. Had the visitors not been so individualistic in their attitude to the game, it is likely they could have doubled their score. Waimea, out-weighed and deprived of the greater part of possession, did well to withstand the massive attacks flung at it.
