Members of the Wakapuaka W.D.F.F. turned out in force to celebrate the 41st birthday of the branch. The major function of the afternoon was the cutting of the cake, performed above by Mrs Avice Duff, the first treasurer, the president, Mrs Avis Young, and Mrs Kathleen Whitwell, the first secretary.
