Roving Camera


One of the biggest jobs on the new Presbyterian Church at Stoke is the roofing of the Aframe building. Roofing contractors, A. R. Tuffnell Ltd, are using continuous-run roofing of a new type on the job. The iron is as long as 43 ft in places.


While mum was busy packing candy for sale at the Nelson Cage Bird Club's show, this young fellow was busy disposing of the crumbs.


Mr Charles Levin, retiring president of the New Zealand Pony Club, fulfilled an ambition when, on the completion of a trip to Nelson district, he visited all pony clubs here. He retires with the record of having paid a personal visit to every club in New Zealand. He is seen here with Mesdames Pam Reid (Wakatu club head instructor), Lois Brown (Nelson club head instructor), Moya Carnahan (Wakatu club president), and members of the Wakatu club and their mounts.
