United's big win

Showing greater fire and determination, especially in the second spell, United downed the hitherto unbeaten Suburbs side 2-1 to win the final of the Nelson sector of the Chatham Cup. Suburbs held a 1-goal lead at half-time, but even this was against the run of play, and in the second half, the better combination and mobility of United brought their rewards in two good goals.
