Basketball tourney

Big entries were received for the Nelson Basketball Association's knockout tournament held on Queen's Birthday. Convent Old Girls made a come-back to beat College A and take the A grade title 16-14. At top left Merle Barnett (Convent) takes a high pass during this game.

Vanguards (in front) and Prep fought out the final of the C grade (won by Vanguards 8-5).

Filling in the team sheet for Richmond A is Pauline Hendrickson assisted by coach Megan Sidwell, and Shona Hendrickson's back.
