Apple trees fronting Nayland Road in Black's orchard have borne their last fruit. The trees were being ripped up when we came along to make way for a new housing subdivision. Initially, seven residential sections fronting on to Nayland Road will be sold, but ultimately more than 150 sections from 31 acres of the orchard property will be offered for sale.
