Relay race to Nelson A

The Nelson A team took the lead in the third lap of the first of the Hewlett inter-club relays and romped home an easy winner. The race was run over a course through the Tahunanui sandhills in atrocious conditions. Rain fell during the race and the flat stretches of sand were slippery and treacherous. Nelson B was second, Trafalgar A 3rd and Methodist A 4th.
