Home from the Sea

Two Nelson fishing trawlers skippered by Des King-Turner and Brian Harvey returned to Nelson after two months in Milford Sounds laden with fish, crayfish, venison and antlers. The crews, (above), happy to be home, comprise Des King-Turner, Lockey Lockington, Daniel Harvey (crew assistant), Gordon and Brian Harvey and (inset) Mrs Natalie Harvey, Brian's wife, who crewed for him. At left, the sea's gold (cray tails) are unloaded.
