Autumn art Exhibition

The Suter Art Gallery was packed with members of the Suter Art Society for the opening of the autumn exhibition and for the commemoration of the society's 80th year. A birthday cake dominated the table at which were seated the immediate past president, Mrs Barbara Wilkes, the patron, Miss G. A. Bisley, and the president, Mr Miles Botting (at right). Miss Bisley later lit the candles. Mrs Wilkes was guest speaker.
