"Wild Goose Chase" at Wakefield

So popular was the Country Players' presentation "Wild Goose Chase" that it played a third night. The play, a farce, revolved around a photographer who after unknowingly taking a photograph of two crooks, sought refuge from them in the baronial hall of Lord and Lady Elrood. The crooks' endeavours to obtain the pic and the photographer's attempts to elude them, provided tremendous fun. The cast, in the top picture, was: Standing, Bob Olaman (Chester), Don Fancott (Lord Elrood), Ted Basset (Hilary Pond), Stan McCue (Capone), Art Ditzel (Wedgewood), Mary and Don Hutcheson (producers); sitting, Jean Olaman (Jenny), Toni Kerr (Patricia), Lyn Shuttleworth (Lady Elrood), Margaret Hall (Ada), Betty Rodgers (Miss Partridge).
