Boy's College Titles

Dark horse of the Nelson College swimming championship meeting was senior Nigel Hands who in the last championship event of the day took a first placing to share the title with Raymond Homan. Nigel, who shifted to Nelson from Invercargill recently, is with Ray Homan (above). Both Fred Persico (intermediate) and Peter Garguilo (junior), club swimmers of some renown, had little difficulty in taking their titles. Fred is below left, Peter at right.
