Marching Titles

Kotare, displaying precision marching, won the Nelson centre marching championship when the titles were decided at the end of last month. Twenty-one teams took part in the championships, some from Wellington and Rotorua.

Champion team, Kotare, fifth in the South Island championships earlier and winner of the aggregate shield over five marches.

Maryanne Quinn, leader of the Protea (Waimea) midget team which won the midget display title.
