The Maitai Boat Race

"Can I canoe you down the river ....." So go the words of an old song, but on the Maitai River just before the Mardi Gras, these words held a practical meaning for the host of boats and canoes of all shapes and sizes which competed in the first (and we hope, not last) Maitai river races.
