In Trouble

Three small incidents we came across during the Nelson show, depict the trouble that some people, and animals, can sometimes get themselves into. At right, a contestant in the steer riding looks as if he's about to collect a kick in the ribs. Below, trouble in a horse stall when this horse of Lorna Higgins, Tapawera, took fright and half-cleared a shutter opening on the way out. The supporting post had to be sawn away to get it out Below right is a picture with many photographic faults, but we shot first and worried later. We were badly out of focus, but there's still enough there to see this horse in trouble as it tried to go through a jump.
