Next year the Nelson Rugby Football Club (New Zealand's oldest) will celebrate its centenary and two years later, in 1970, will celebrate the first game of Rugby played in New Zealand, between Nelson Club and a Nelson College Xv. Club officials are now compiling a register of past members and seek Your assistance. If you know of any past members (wherever they may be) or have old team photos, please contact Mr M. Pugh, at 7854, or the secretary, at Box 515, Nelson.

No doubt the Nelson club senior Xv will be out to win the championship next year, as it did this year (for the 29th time). The champion team, was, back row, N. Dinnan, R. Gill, I. Robinson, N.
