"Around the World in 80 Days"
A crowded hall at Ngawhatu were taken around the world in a few hours when staff and patients of Ngawhatu Hospital presented "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne. This was a major production, with difficult sets and lighting, but the cast handled it in masterly fashion. The costumes and stage effects were first class.
