Stoke Schools' Music Festival

Primary school children in the Stoke-Tahunanui area presented their annual music festival in the Stoke Memorial Hall to a large and appreciative audience. The schools taking part, Stoke, Tahunanui, Enner Glynn and Nayland, presented a varied programme of choral and instrumental items and, in one case, folk dances of America and South Africa. Later the schools combined for junior and senior choral items and the climax of the evening was the presentation of items by the massed choir.
