Whitebait Were Running — Too Fast For Most

Keen whitebait fishermen have met with varying success during the whitebait season. We' ve heard of some moderate catches; we have heard of some poor catches and no catches at all, and the plaintive cry of the fisherman remains: "Where have all the whitebait gone?" A few pix we took on the Maitai and at Appleby.
