Unusual Hobbies

The most unusual hobby we have come across for a long time is that of Michael Burton, of Hope. Michael spends his leisure hours searching for bugs, insects, lizards and small rodents, to catch and preserve them in formalin. It's a sort of incomplete biological hobby, in that Michael is not interested in dissection of experiments outside the line that he is pursuing. He became interested in biology while attending Waimea College, and when he left college he got some equipment together and went aroaming. We found him at it when we called.
