Plunket Mothers Have a T. V. Night Out

Most people stay at home to watch TV, but not members of the Stoke Plunket Mothers' Club. They went out to TV - to the Catholic hall in Songer Street to see all the stars and shows, and all local stars and locally produced. Fact was, the club turned on a TV Night, a hilarious show. One of the best turns was that of Town and Around personality, Peter Read (above).
