Primary Schools' Tourney
The convent schools of St Mary's (Blenheim) and St Joseph's (Nelson) met last month in their annual sports tournament. This year St. Mary's won the basketball cup with a clear-cut win, but St Joseph's won the Rugby cup - the first time in seven years.

Father P. P. Cahill presents the basketball cup to Christine Bugler and the Rugby Shield (one shield that didn't return to Blenheim) to St. Joseph's captain, Peter Schon.
