The Scots Hae a Nicht Oot

Tartan-swathed kiwis, and lashings of tartan and heatherrrr, combined with the skirl of the pipes and the burr of the odd Scottish accent, proclaimed for all who entered the Stoke Memorial Hall last month that it was ball time again for the Nelson Highland Pipe Band. Och aye, it was a grand night, highlighted by a display of twirling lighted drumsticks. The effect, as seen above in this time exposure shot, was quite unusual.
