"The Dangerous Hours"

Three escaped prisoners from a federal penitentiary invade the home of a respectable family and virtually hold them hostage for a week. This is the basic plot of "The Dangerous Hours" produced by the Nelson Repertory Theatre earlier this month. But there was much more to the play than this. This month we've peeked behind the scenes as the play was at the dress rehearsal stage, to have a look at the work of the unsung heroes, the stage crew, and the preparations for a show.

David Mackenzie, one of the desperadoes, adds a few lines of make-up to heighten his villainous appearance.

High above the stage, Stephen Martin adjusts the position of a backdrop.
