Nelson Rep Team at Home, and Away

Time is supposed to heal most wounds, but it is doubtful if Nelson Rugby will recover very quickly from the severe drubbing it received at the hands of a Wellington XV. Wellington's 45-11 win was actually no true indication of the game. Wellington should have scored at least another 12 to 15 pts. and probably would have done so had not everybody decided to have a go at scoring. Ten days later Nelson began its southern tour. It did not begin on a very hopeful note, losing the first game to West Coast, but as we go to press we express the hope that the team does better in its remaining games. We're sure they'll be trying.
