The past district president of the Wakefield Druids Lodge, Mr W. G. Douglas, was made a presentation recently after completing 60 years' service to the lodge. Mr Wallace has been an office-bearer throughout this period and has also received the Abel Award, the highest honour available in the lodge. (Kingsford and Baigent).
Mrs S. A. Martin, Bronte Street, whose work for the intellectually handicapped for many years was rewarded recently with the award of an M.B.E.
On the other end of a camera for a change is John Sharp, and wife, Loretta. They were attending the aviation ball.
The Bank of New South Wales indoor bowling team, Sam Nixon, Jim Trathen, Ian Reynolds and Alan Simpson, who won the cup in the first round of the inter-banks bowling competition.
