Junior Soccer Team Loses

The Nelson junior soccer side was unable to root it with Canterbury when the South Island semi-final in the New Zealand Junior National Cup series was played at Nelson earlier this month. Canterbury scored three goals in the first half and three minuted after the interval notched another three to give it an almost unassailable lead. The game was played in pouring rain which had considerable effect on the quality of the pix, taken for us by Robin Rodwell.
