Cooking With Alison Holst

In the words of that well-known Rugby commentator: "Now you've seen her, and so have we." And the impression we formed of cooking expert, Alison Holst, is that she's as charming in person as she is on tele. Alison was guest of the Nelson District Pig Producers' Council at an evening in the Stoke hall recently. There she filled the hall with an appetising aroma of two pork dishes (the recipes for which were distributed after the demonstration). The crowded hall was also shown the various cuts of pork and given an insight into the production of pigs, and a short history of the animal, by Mr Erik Kirkeby, senior technical officer of the council.
