Jaycee Regional Conference
Jaycee chapters in the Nelson-Marlborough district held their annual regional conference in Nelson last month As well as the main business session, when representatives gathered in groups to discuss a large range of topics, the final of the regional debating and oratory contests were held. The topics That today's housewife is more accomplished than her grandmother 60 years ago. The Nelson team, taking the affirmative, won this contest, and Robin Manson (Golden Bay) won the oratory. A cabaret evening on the Saturday evening completed the conference.
