Comings And Goings

Five years ago Hector and Irene Prior came to Nelson from Rhodesia with their family, but returned the same year. Earlier this month they came back from Malawi to settle in the province. "The uncertainty of living in Rhodesia," prompted their return. Hector is a diesel engineer. With them are their children, Sue, John and Neil.

Off to the Cook Islands are John and Anne Tierney, where John has been appointed deputy-treasurer of the Treasury Department. Anne (formerly Miss Moriarty) was married to John in Nelson earlier this year.

From Bulli, New South Wales, Colin and Carlene Woolmer brought their family to live in Nelson. The Woolmer family, at the left of the picture, is Leesa, Daniele, Gavin (in Carlene's arms), Mellain and Colin. They are with Bill and Jean Rowling, who also came to Nelson from Bulli 10 years ago, and their family, Dale, Kay, Tracy and Debora. Carlene is Jean's sister.
