Methodist Harrier Champs

The top athletics in Methodist harriers clubs throughout New Zealand competed for national honours at Nelson earlier this month over a testing course at Wakakapuaka. Nelson was well represented in the five grades. The junior event was won by John Sweeney (Nelson) at left and Meryl Wastney was second in the ladies' race.

Four local residents out to see the fun: Susan Winstanley, Kay McKenzie, Lorraine Gill and Susan Bonnington.
