The first Rotary ball to be held in Nelson was an outstanding success. Rotarians and their wives from many parts of the province and from Marlborough filled the new recreational hall at Ngawhatu Hospital and enjoyed the evening to the full. Profits from the ball are to be allocated to the hospital's chapel fund.
