The Saints Went Marching Through

Nelson received quite a manhandling at the hands of the touring Latter Day Saints team in the Y. M. stadium. On the Friday evening it was beaten 108-50 and on the Saturday night, 120-58. Tallest man in visiting team, P. Peterson (6ft 5in), was top scorer on second night with 43 and G. Watts, with 40 on first night and 32 on second, was in great form.
