Every week tons of sausages are consumed throughout New Zealand, but have you ever wondered how the sausage meat gets into the skin and how the actual bunch of five-inch sausages are made? At top left a skin is fitted on to a nozzle of the filling machine, a handle is turned and out comes the sausage. At top right the sausage length is displayed and at right the sausages are made into bunches by a twist, a turn and a flick of the wrist.
