Professional Cricket Coach At Nelson

Cricket in the Nelson district received a big boost last month when the former England player Martin Horton imparted his knowledge to cricketers, young and older, in a series of coaching classes. Mr Horton was engaged by the New Zealand Cricket Association as a professional coach and his visit to Nelson was his first in this capacity. We found him in action, with his young charges, at the Nelson Intermediate School.
