Girls' Brigade Invades Nelson

Nelson lived up to Its reputation as "Sunny Nelson" during the five-day visit to the province of 89 members of Girls' Brigades in the Auckland district. During their stay here (they had the time of their lives, we hear), local units entertained them with trips and finally a hangi to end all hangis at the Baptist Youth Camp site in the Maitai Valley. A picnic at Rabbit Island and a concert in the Stoke Hall were also thoroughly enjoyed.
