Introducing...

Here's a couple of "With it" gals, Lynne Fawcett and Elspeth Munro, members of the sales staff of Culls. In the pop music world they know what's what. Lynne is keen on music, dancing and reading, and has been at Culls 18 months. Elspeth is approaching the end of her first year with the firm, and she digs the mod beat man, like crazy. Additional interests are dancing, indoor basketball and "just getting about". Both attended Nelson College for Girls.

When we whipped into the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Federation workshop in Quarantine Road, recently, we spotted Len Roberts making with the welding. He stopped long enough for us to get him in our sights. Seems Len spent most of his time in Motueka (where he was educated), but he's now living at 54 Marlowe Street with his wife, Betty, and 14-months daughter. He's very keen on indoor basketball, swimming, rugby and slot car racing.

The sound of aircraft engines doesn't bother Justice Wilson. Justice, a 19-year-old airlines clerk with Golden Coast Airline, was formerly employed in the same capacity by S. P. A. N. Z. She is an old girl of Nelson College for Girls and is a keen painter, musician (pianist) and reader.

One of the best-known men around Nelson is Lew Wastney, a member of the city council reserves department staff. Lew, who lives at The Glen, has 13 children (the eldest 40, the youngest 6), and he's been with the council 11 years. Lew's a keen fisherman and gardener. His 15 grand-children occupy a fair bit of his spare time, also.
