Brief Airing For "Press" Shield

The "Weekly Press" Shield received its annual airing last month when it was taken from the main entrance of Nelson College to the parade ground and presented to the college's victorious shooting team. The team last year won the trophy for the 13th successive year, and for the second year in succession topped the national scoring list. The shield was handed over at a full battalion parade of the college cadet corps, by the Commander of Southern Military District, Wigadier W. R. K. ("Tiger") Morrison.
