Christmas In Nelson

Father Christmas has come and gone, the pockets which took a severe thrashing are beginning to recover, many of the toys which brought such joy on Christmas morning lie discarded and the intense activity which surrounds the festive season has abated. Christmas, 1966, is over (and do we detect the sounds of many thousands of "and thank heavens for that"). But, forgetting all the work and bustle, Christmas is a wonderful time, full of good cheer, greater tolerance, and spiritual uplift. For the children, it's much more. And it's on the children we concentrated this Christmas.
