Geoff Tuffnell, equally at home with a blowlamp or binnacle, is the Monaco Power Boat Club's only honorary life member, an honour conferred on him this year. Geoff was a foundation member of the club and served on its committee until his retirement two years ago. For the last four years on the committee he was vice-commodore.

Sunday dinner at the home of Mr and Mrs J. Halket Millar, Neale Avenue, Stoke, is forgotten as their son, Michael and his fiancee, Noelene Oxnam, examine souvenirs brought back from South Vietnam. Michael, a member of the New Zealand artillery battery there, had just returned home.
